September 25-27 | Starting at $600Genuine Engaging Moments (GEM) Retreat
What to Expect
A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. The GEM Retreat is designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself—through guided experiences, restorative space, and time to simply be.
Step away from the noise of everyday life to explore and examine who you TRULY are through fun and thought-provoking experiences. These gatherings are a sanctuary for the soul and are designed for women seeking connection, clarity, and healing. Together, we meet in sisterhood to share stories, hold space, and rediscover who we are beneath the layers of everyday life. Through gentle mindfulness practices, guided inner work, and heart-opening rituals, we tend to old wounds and make space for new beginnings. Set against a backdrop of natural beauty, you’ll reconnect — with your body, your truth, each other, and something greater than us all.
Come as you are. Leave as who you were always meant to be.
❋ Intentional StructureWe blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.
❋ Collaborative EnergyConnection with other participants is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself.
❋ Expert FacilitationLed by experienced guides, one of whom is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.
❋ A Supportive SpaceOur events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.
Knowledge is power, but knowledge about yourself is self-empowerment. Dr. Joe Dispenza
The noise of every day life has to be quieted to get to know yourself. Time for quiet self-reflection is a high priority at our retreats.
Who should attend?
Everyone with an open heart and mind who is ready to learn new ideas and ways of living. This includes all who are willing to analyze their life in an honest and somewhat vulnerable way. That said, we respect boundaries and will never push attendees to share more than they are comfortable with. We also won’t require anyone to participate in activities if it does not feel right or is too difficult. Essentially everyone is welcome to come to our events, but ideally, attendees will be at a stage in their lives where they are eager to reflect on who they are and what is or is not working for them. Finally, our gatherings are for “creative types”—even those who have yet to discover that we are all creative, because we create our lives moment by moment with every choice we make.
What will happen?
Chosen activities help participants gain insight into who they are and what they want from their lives which naturally leads to interactive discussions. Most of the activities are evidenced based techniques or are proven therapeutic techniques while others are more intuitive or spiritual in nature. The GEM leaders are very thoughtful and intentional when creating these experiences and gatherings and are always open to suggestions for improvement. Personal self-assessments are conducted under the guidance of a mental health professional as well. Additionally, attendees learn to tune into their senses as they are immersed in experiential components such as sound baths, essential oils, crystals, Yoga, and Self-Reiki.
Why is this important?
From the time we are born, we learn what is expected of us based on the norms in our families and communities. These norms and expectations condition us to become “acceptable” versions of ourselves, which leads to suppression of who we were born to be. Additionally, the world says we should look for answers outside of ourselves because “others” have acquired skills or wisdom through education or life experience. While this message could be helpful to a degree, it is not THE answer. We were born with an inner knowing, and as we return to it, all answers are revealed to us. Through self-examination, we begin to live in more authentic ways, which can help heal old wounds as we validate our emotional selves. Getting real with ourselves can also lead to greater fulfillment in our lives and ultimately honor our divine purpose. This isn’t to say people are not good resources to help us along the way, but they will NEVER have all of the data so they will NEVER have all of the answers. When we discover what is right for us and live into our authentic selves, we are more likely to create emotional intimacy and connection with loved ones. Additionally, the experiences and tools received through GEM help us take better care of our minds, bodies, and souls, all of which positively impact humanity through the butterfly effect.
Reconnect with your body and mind as you escape the noise of everyday life.
